The Warri North Local Government Chief Security Officer, who gave the assurance in a press statement today, Monday November 25, declared: “This dastardly act, allegedly carried out under the guise of demanding employment, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“The destruction of critical infrastructure not only poses a significant threat to the environment and public safety, but also undermines the economic development of our community.
“I want to assure the good people of Warri North Local Government Area that we will not succumb to the demands of these criminals. Instead, we will work closely with the relevant security agencies to ensure that those responsible for this heinous act are brought to justice.
“I also want to use this opportunity to appeal to our youths to resist the temptation of engaging in such destructive activities. We are committed to creating opportunities for employment and empowerment, and we will continue to work with reputable organizations to achieve this goal.
“I commend the security agencies for their prompt response to the incident and assure them of our continued support.
“Let us stand together against vandalism and all forms of criminality. Together, we can build a safer, more prosperous, and peaceful community.
