Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a new body within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Warri South Local Government Area, which goes by the name PDP TEA Pressure Group, was earlier today, Thursday November 28, inaugurated.
The PDP TEA Pressure group, which has Hon. Humphrey Tuoyo, as Chairman of the Local Government Area, also emerged with “Ward Coordinators, to prepare for the forthcoming voters’ registration exercise and strategic planning for the 2027 general elections.”
Fresh Angle International, understands that the group “is determined to strengthen grassroots mobilization and ensure every eligible voter in Warri South, is empowered to participate in the democratic process.”
The inauguration ceremony of PDP TEA Pressure group, reportedly brought together leaders, supporters, and residents, “united by a shared vision of progress and development. From every corner of Warri South, people gathered in large numbers to witness the birth of a movement poised to redefine grassroots politics.”
A statement sighted by This Newspaper, noted: “The newly inaugurated chapter, now carries the responsibility of coordinating PDP activities across all 12 wards of Warri South LGA on behalf of the group. Each ward is represented by a dedicated leader, chosen for their commitment to the party's ideology.”
The Warri South Chairman of PDP TEA Pressure group, Hon. Humphrey Tuoyo, who reportedly spoke shortly after the inauguration, said: “I stand before you today not as a leader, but as a servant of this great team. My loyalty to the PDP is unshakable. Together, we will ensure this vision touches every ward, street, and homes in Warri South Local Government Area. This mission is ours to fulfill, and we cannot fail.
“To my people of Warri South, you are the heart of this movement. This journey is not about individuals—it’s about us. Together, we will rise and create the future we deserve.”

The ceremony was reportedly concluded with cheers and the distribution of leadership materials to ward executives, with each leader pledging to uphold the vision of the PDP TEA Pressure Group and vowing to make an impact in every ward.
