Leverage on MORE BIZUP Programme to contribute to economic development of Delta State, Egbo tasks participants

The Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Olorogun Jaro Egbo, has tasked participants of Delta State " MORE BIZUP Programme" to leverage on the training to enhance their skills and contribute meaningfully to the economic development of the state.                              

Speaking during the flag-off of the training exercise organized by the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau at the Ughelli North Local Government Council Secretariat Hall, Olorogun Egbo commended the initiative as a pivotal step in fostering economic growth. 

The programme was designed for participants from the Ughelli/Udu federal constituency.

In his address, Olorogun Egbo lauded the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Director-General of the Job and Wealth Creation Bureau, Comrade Ifeanyi Michael Egwunyenga, for their visionary leadership and commitment to human capital development. He emphasized the critical role of skill acquisition and capacity building in driving sustainable economic growth and nation-building.

“The importance of acquiring new skills and knowledge cannot be overemphasized. It is through such initiatives that we can empower individuals, upscale businesses, and collectively contribute to the economic prosperity of our state,” Olorogun Egbo stated.

Our Ughelli North Bureau Chief, reports that the "MORE BIZUP Programme," facilitated by the Delta State Job and Wealth Creation Bureau, aims to equip participants with contemporary skills, enhance business capacities, and foster entrepreneurial growth. 

This training is another step toward achieving the state government's vision for robust economic development through strategic human capital investment.
