Shop owners in Pessu Market, Warri, have been granted seven days extension to occupy their shops or face forfeiture.
According to a statement credited to the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, the seven days grace takes effect from Monday March 10.
The statement, obtained Monday March 10, from the Official Facebook page of Warri South Local Government Council, noted inter - alia : "The Chairman, Hon. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, has graciously approved another 7days period to shop owners to comply with the Council's directive.
"This is effective from today 10th March 2025." Recall that Warri South Local Government Council, had on Friday February 21, given shop owners at the market, a 14 - day ultimatum to utilize their shops or lose the shops.
