Warri Federal Constituency: Sack INEC Officials involved in dollarizing Ward Delineation report, Omagbemi tells FG

Secretary of Itsekiri Liberation Group, ILG, Comrade Ajofotan Jonathan Omagbemi, has called on Federal Government to sack all INEC Officials, “involved in the dollarized preliminary report of ward delineation of Warri Federal Constituency.” 

Ajofotan, who is also the Scribe of Ogbudugbudu Itsekiri Community in Warri North Local Government Area, posited that the call became imperative, “because INEC is an agency of the federal government.”

He emphasized: “When INEC actions differ from any logical thinking and could lead to chaos and crisis, then the needful should be done by the Presidency or INEC chairman, to prevent crisis situation.

“What has happened in the recent Warri Federal Constituency ward delineation recommendation, is surprising because, there is selective judgement implementation, abnormal or rascal and hurried judgement implementation, with strong bias against the Itsekiri ethnic nationality, the original owners of the Warri Federal Constituency.

“My call on INEC is that they should implement all pending judgements concerning wards in Warri Federal Constituency, ensure they follow the different maps that are used to establish the communities that make up the local government areas of Warri North, Warri South and Warri South-West, not fishing camps or shanties being occupied by fishermen.

“Nigeria is a country established by law and INEC must follow the law in the implementation of ward delineation in Warri Federal Constituency and accord the original owners their respects and avoid being intimidated and induced with dollars and naira, which is capable of causing crisis.”
