Vocal leader in Omadino Federated Communities in Warri Federal Constituency, Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone, has refuted claim that Omadino belongs to Ijaws in Gbaramatu, saying all court cases won by Omadino Community, affirmed the overlordship of the Olu of Warri.
Aginejuone, who made the declaration in an electronic statement sent to Fresh Angle International Saturday June 7, insisted that Omadino is an Itsekiri community, having no connection with Ijaw.
He stressed: " I am Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone,a community leader from Omadino community.
" This publication is to debunk the statement made by Tompolo, claiming
Omadino community is an Ijaw community..
" Just to keep the record straight, Omadino is an Itsekiri community.
" All l court cases won by Omadino community,was won under the overlordship of the Olu of Warri.
" At no point did Omadino community had or have any connection with Ijaw.
" Omadino people believe that Tompolo must be in a state of ultracrepidarian when he made the statement that Omadino community is from Gbaramatu.
" I advise Tompolo to get a schooled person to lecture him about the court judgement Omadino community had with his forebears."
