Secretary to OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum, Mr. Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone (aka Emma Lagos) has alleged shutout by Chairman of the Forum, Mr. Monday Agbeyi, saying “Agbeyi should treat softly, while accommodating illegal community/communities”, into the OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum.

In an electronic statement sent to Fresh Angle International, Sunday August 10, Aginejuone, who is from Omadino Federated Communities in Warri Federal Constituency, claimed: “Monday Agbeyi, keep accommodating illegal community/communities not known to law and jettisoned the community/communities KNOWN TO LAW by the litigation map.

“It has come to a point, where Monday Agbeyi goes to meeting/meetings with Conoil and his subsidiaries, without me knowing. Signing document/documents without me knowing.

“I am saying at this point that whatsoever document/documents signed by Monday Agbeyi only or any person (s) concerning the OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum, without my signature, is null and void.

“I shall legally kick against any attempt to usurp my powers and have no pity approaching the court, to seek redress on form 48, regarding any person or persons that wants to create any illegal community/communities. Monday Agbeyi, is running an autocratic government in OML 150 Communities’ Consultative Forum.”

When contacted on telephone in the early hours of Monday August 11, Mr. Monday Agbeyi, dismissed Aginejuone’s allegations, saying until Mr. Oritseweyinmi Emmanuel Agbonekuya Aginejuone, retracts a statement accusing him (Agbeyi) of selling Omadino land, he cannot trust Aginejuone to work with him.

Agbeyi, asserted: “He accused me of selling Omadino land. I summoned a meeting sometime last month, which he attended and he was asked in the meeting why he told the public that I sold Omadino land? He (Aginejuone) apologized and was told to retract that statement, he made online.

“By the constitution of the forum, we don’t have power to sell lands, sale of lands, is exclusively reserved for the member- communities, it’s not part of our constitution.

“Till today, he (Aginejuone) has not retracted the statement he made, accusing me of selling Omadino land. Until he retracts that statement, I can’t work with him.

“He said the Olu of Warri (Warri Monarch) created seven communities for him, if your community is seen and on ground and it’s in the area where Conoil is operating, definitely, Conoil will recognise it, because it’s in the PIA (Petroleum Industry Act) but he has been fighting me that I should recognise seven communities.”
