Official Government Annoncement Postponement of Uduere Community Election
I am directed to refer to the above subject and regret to inform you that the Uduere-Ughelli Community Election scheduled for 16th August, 2025 has been indefinitely postponed.
The decision was made after careful consideration of a negative security report indicating potentialrisk to the public peace and security. The safety of our citizens is our top priority, and we cannot compromise on this aspect.
We will continue to monitor the situatiion and work towards rescheduling the election at the earlier possible date. We will communicate the new date and details in due course.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
