APC appoints Tenumah Delta Coordinator for the Reserved Seats For Women Bill

Former Delta South Women Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC and Immediate past Board Member, Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, Alero Naomi Tenumah, has been appointed Delta Coordinator for the Reserved Seats For Women Bill.

Fresh Angle International, understands that the appointment was confirmed by the National Woman Leader of All Progressives Congress, Mary Alile Idele PhD.

Ms Alero Naomi Tenumah, a graduate of University of Benin and ex-President of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG, is renowned for her philanthropic gestures.

She is a distinguished political figure from Delta State and a renowned politician as well as skilled mobilizer.

In the same vein, Ms. Isioma Theodora Ndah LLB, was appointment the South-South Coordinator of the Reserved Seats For Women Bill.

The Women's Reserved Seat Bill, introduced in Nigeria, aims to augment female representation in legislative bodies, by creating supplementary seats exclusively for women.

The legislative proposal, is a key component of ongoing constitutional review initiatives designed to mitigate the substantial gender imbalance pervasive in Nigerian politics.

Dr. Mary Alile Idele PhD, has emerged as a stalwart proponent of this bill, diligently organizing town hall meetings and analogous events to heighten awareness and mobilize support, with the bill scheduled for its third reading in October 2025.
