Authorities of Warri South Local Government Council, have commenced the evacuation of sand and weeds along the walkways and median of a long stretch of the main road at Ubeji, Warri.
Fresh Angle International can report that the evaluation, which started Thursday November 13 at the main gate of Ubeji, will end Saturday November 15 at the Deeper Junction axis of the busy Ubeji Road.
The Head of Environment Department, Warri South Local Government Council, Mrs. Stella Omosibo Mode, who is supervising the exercise, disclosed that the ongoing clean - up of the walkways and median at the Ubeji Road, is the second major exercise carried out in the area this year by the Council.

Whilst noting that the Council has continued to engage community leaders in Warri South Local Government Area, with a view to ensure a cleaner and greener Warri South, Mrs. Mode commended the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, for providing the enabling environment for sustained clean - up and beautification of Warri South .
" We enjoy support of community leaders, through the local government chairman, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac," she added.
Casual workers engaged by the Council, were seen evacuating sand and clearing weeds along the walkways and median, as vehicular movements continued interrupted.
