Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths Warn Against Inauguration of New INYC Leadership

The youth body inaugurated by The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths, UIY, has warned against  inauguration of the new executive of Itsekiri National Youth Council, INYC, interpreting the planned inauguration of INYC leadership, slated for Thursday November 27 in Warri, as undermining the authority of Warri Monarch.                                        

The warning ,was contained in a statement credited to the Secretary General of Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths , UIY, Jakpah  Oritsejolomisan Edward.                                            

The statement, which was sighted by Fresh Angle International in the early hours of Wednesday November 26 on social media platforms, noted: "The Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths (UIY) hereby issues this strict, final, and irrevocable public notice concerning the authoritative proclamation of Ogiame Atuwatse III, The Olu of Warri, on the dissolution and non-recognition of the former INYC body. The position of the Olu of Warri stands as the supreme directive within the Warri Kingdom, and no individual, group, association, or faction has the authority, traditional, legal, moral, or otherwise, to counter, reinterpret, or undermine it in any form.

" 1.Absolute Compliance Required, let it be clearly understood that the scrapped INYC body no longer exists under the authority of the Warri Kingdom. Any attempt to revive, operate, convene, issue statements, or carry out activities under that name or its remnants is not only illegitimate but a direct affront to the established order of the kingdom. Those Who Defy the Directive Will Be Classified as Adversaries, moving forward, anyone who promotes, supports, encourages, or engages with the defunct INYC structure in any capacity shall be regarded as an adversary to the Warri Kingdom. Let there be no ambiguity: This classification carries serious implications. The Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths will utilize all lawful and traditional mechanisms available to address such misconduct decisively, and will ensure that appropriate community, cultural, and legal processes are invoked to their fullest extent.

"2. This is the Final Warning, this press release serves as a final, non-negotiable, and uncompromising notice to all parties-internal or external who may be contemplating actions contrary to the throne's directive.

"There will be no further tolerance, no excuses, and no recognition for any attempt to resurface or perpetuate the dissolved INYC structure.

"3. Upholding the Throne and the Stability of the Kingdom the Ugbarajo Itsekiri Youths remains fully aligned with the Olu of Warri, and we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to protecting the authority, stability, and unity of the kingdom.
