Members of the Executive of Ode-Ugborodo Community Youth in Ugborodo Federated Communities, have felicitated the new leadership of Itsekiri National Youth Council, INYC, led by Comr. Appearance Afejuku, saying the commitment of the apex Itsekiri youth body to protect the territorial integrity of Iwere Nation, aligns with their philosophy.
The Ode-Ugborodo youth body, in a statement made available to Fresh Angle International, Friday November 28, expressed optimism that issues such as employment, meaningful engagements with International Oil and Gas Companies, IOCs, the different tiers of governments and its agencies, will be given utmost priority by the new exco of INYC.
In the statement, which was signed by Public Relations Officer of Ode-Ugborodo Community Youth, Prince Peter Oritseweyinmi, they pledged to collaborate with the INYC leadership in their promise to ensure peaceful coexistence with Itsekiri ethnic neighbours, adding: “Because we believe peaceful coexistence, promotes sustainable development.”
Whilst stating that the emergence of Ode-Ugborodo Community Youth Chairman, Louis Timeyin Mogborukor, as First Vice Chairman of INYC excites them, the Ode-Ugborodo Youths, advised the INYC leadership to embark on peace tour to neighbouring kingdoms in Warri Federal Constituency, leaders across the various ethnic nationalities and relevant agencies, to preach the gospel of peace and unity.
