The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, says the Farm Estate being established at the riverine community of Orere - Uluba by his administration, would have fitting accommodation for people to live in, workshop, training centre, electricity and other basic amenities. 

Agbateyiniro, noted that water borehole has already been installed in the farm estate, saying the mixed farm project encompasses rearing of livestock and growing several species of plants.

Fresh Angle International can report that the Warri South Local Government Boss, spoke Thursday December 4, during flag -off of Warri South Local Government Council Farm Estate at Orere - Uluba Community in Warri South Local Government Area.

He disclosed that the Council procured speedboat to fast - track mobility and ease of doing business at the Farm Estate, just he directed the Council's Supervisor for Agric and Head of Agric department, to work with the community leaders, with a view to get an indigene of the community as manager of the Farm Estate, in - line with the Local Content Act.

Whilst stating that an Orere - Uluba indigene have been engaged as driver of the speedboat procured for the project, the former Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, averred that he has directed the Council's Supervisor for Health, to ensure that the health centre at Orere - Uluba is fully operational.

Agbateyiniro, disclosed that officials of the state government tasked with the responsibility of extending electricity to the community were already on ground, assuring that more people - driven projects would be established in the riverine community, which is barely 10 minutes boat drive from Omadino.

Delta State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Barr. Ada Val Arenyeka, who later flagged off the mega project, said it was the first time he saw a local government chairman in the state, investing in Agriculture.

Barr. Arenyeka, who noted that Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, was in support of the Farm Estate project, enjoined the community leaders to nominate five fishers that would be gifted 15 horsepower and W19 boats, to enhance their business.

The oldest man ( Olare - Aja) of Orere - Uluba Community, Pa. Sunday K. Titon, in his remarks, thanked Warri South Local Government Council and the state government for the projects.

Pa. Titon, who spoke through the Secretary of Orere-Ulube Community Trust, Mr. Innocent Agbeyegbe, expressed happiness with the directive of Comrade Agbateyiniro as it relates to making sure that the health centre in the community, becomes fully operational.

He prayed for the state and local governments, assuring that the projects would be adequately protected.
