Classes 1985, 1986 and 1987 of Yonwuren College, Warri Old Students’ Association, YOCOSA, have reunited, committing to launch a formidable national body of the association come February 2026, Fresh Angle International can report.
The three classes of YOCOSA, met during a reunion held Saturday December 6, at the Ubeji-Warri residence of Mr. Frederick Olomuro.
Our Principal Correspondent reports that Mr. Fredrick Olomuro, who is the Chairman of the three classes (’85, 86 and 87) disclosed the plan to launch the national body, so as to advance the Alma Mater.
Mr. Olomuro, a Health, Safety and Environment expert, noted that they adopted a strategy to collectively strengthen the three sets of YOCOSA, having observed the progressive efforts of the different classes, towards supporting their Alma Mater.
He assured that after inauguration of the national body, they will embark on presentation of gifts to their Alma Mater and extend support to teachers as well as students of the College, during festive periods.

According to him, some notable achievements so far extended to Yonwuren College, Warri by the alumnus body, include giving out of notebooks to students, fencing of the school, refurbishment of the school laboratory and carrier talk.
The reunion party, featured health talk by Mrs. Omawumi Esoko, a Nurse and graduate of class ‘85. She enlightened people about vital signs and regular body check up, in order to stay healthy.
One of the pioneer students of Yonwuren College, Warri, Comrade Emeka Nwokocha, in his remarks, commended Mr. Olomuro, for hosting the three classes and appreciated other members for their support.
