Delta State Government, has stepped up construction work on the 3.1km Kolokolo/ Tisun Road project in Warri North Local Government Area, which was recently awarded by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration.
Findings by Fresh Angle International, revealed that the contractor handling the project, has concluded clearing of the road, with sand-filling ongoing as at Wednesday December 10, when this report was filed.
The Chairman of Tisun Community Management Council, Mr. Andrew Omajugho, who confirmed the development in an exclusive telephone chat with This Newspaper, commended Governor Oborevwori for listening to four decades of appeal by Tisun indigenes.

Mr. Omajugho, described the 3.1km Project as a dream come true, thanking former Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Dr. Godwin Ebosa, for his strong commitment to the project.
He also appreciated the Chairman of Warri North Local Government Area, Hon. Festus Ashima, for providing the enablement for eventual commencement of the age - long project, assuring that people of Tisun community, are collaborating with the contractor for timeous completion of the work.
“The Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration, has shown that oil and gas bearing communities, have not been left out and the riverine communities, are not forgotten in his execution of development projects across the state”, Omajugho emphasized.
He thanked The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwaste III as well as members of the Warri Council of Chiefs, especially the The Udefi Obaloye of Warri Kingdom, Chief Francis Omatseye, “for restoring peace in Tisun Community.”
Recall that former Secretary as well as immediate past Chairman of Tisun Management Council in Warri North Local Government Area, Mr. David Odeli, had been in the forefront of agitation for construction of the 3.1km Tisun/Kolokolo Road and electrification project, which had been begging for attention for the past 40years.
