Fifty - one years after his passing, generations of the famous Pessu family, say the spirit of the transited Chief Isaac Oritsejemiyotan Pessu, continues to inspire them.

 Late Chief Isaac Oritsejemiyotan Pessu, who was The Ojomo of Warri Kingdom, between 1955 and 1974, was described as a man of wisdom and integrity by the family.

 The current Ojomo of Warri Kingdom, Chief Yayah Pessu, in a statement released Friday December 12, to mark exactly 51 years after the late patriarch of Pessu family departed, said the legacy of Late Chief Isaac Oritsejemiyotan Pessu, endures.

The statement, reads: "This is in cherished memory of our beloved father, grand father, great grand father and great great grand father, Late Chief Isaac Oritsejemiyotan Pessu, who departed this life 51 years ago. His wisdom, integrity, and devotion to family remain a guiding light to us all. "Though the years have passed, his legacy endures, and his spirit continues to inspire us. 

"May his soul rest in perfect peace."
