Special Adviser on Environment to Delta State Governor, Hon. (Chief) Matthew Poko Opuoru, on Sunday December 14, paid royal homage to the Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri, HRM. (Dr.) Ogheneochuko Morris Eyekpimi Egbobiyen Owhotemu II, saying the visit was to dispel any innuendos that he is having differences with Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri.
Opuoru, who described the Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri, HRM. (Dr.) Ogheneochuko Morris Eyekpimi Egbobiyen Owhotemu II, as his King, noted: “This is just to send a clear message to the world, particular people of Delta State, I am with the King, the King is with me and there's no qualms at all."
Speaking during the visit, Hon. Opuoru, said the royal homage to the Monarch, became necessary after his appointment as "Special Adviser on Environment" by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Hon. Opuoru, who was flanked by the Vice Chairman, Warri South Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, Chief (Prof.) Israel Abido, SSA on Political Matters to the Governor, Chief Isaac Enifoniye, Mr. Alex Eda, Esther Omotejowho Umoh (Nee Opuoru) and Gabriel Okandeji, scored Governor Sheriff Oborevwori high in his handling of the affairs of the State.
According to Hon. Opuoru, "His Excellency has done a tremendous job. He has done what others could not do. What is called FEAT that an individual does that other people have not been able to do.

"Look at Delta State, the contractors are happy, because when he awards you a contract, you are guaranteed to be paid. You don't have to wait for a year, 2years, 5years, before payment as long as you do quality jobs. He gives you a contract, complete it to the best of your ability to the requirements of Delta State. You will be automatically paid. So, he has done very, very well."
On the issue of environment, Hon. Opuoru said: "Everything so far is excellent. The governor has put forth an agenda that covers all indigenes of Delta State. Security, healthcare, infrastructure, he has done exceedingly well.”

The Governor’s Aide, hinted that he will begin a sensitization tour to the 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State. "We want His Excellency to win award of the cleanest State in Nigeria", he said
The Orosuen of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri, HRM (Dr.) Ogheneochuko Morris Eyekpimi Egbobiyen Owhotemu II, appreciated Hon. Opuoru for the royal visit in his personal capacity as the Special Adviser on Environment.
"I appreciate you. The entire Palace and Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri appreciate you. God will bless you. This honour you have given to me, if you are to go for election with the women by your side, you will win any election. Like what has been demonstrated here, it is very clear.
"You must carry your women along. Then, you follow up with the youths. When the women are there, youths following them, the sky is your limit. You did not come here for election. It's just a tip that we are seeing here today. God will continue to bless the works of your hands."
