The people of Omadino Community in Warri South Local Government Area, have appealed to Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, to upgrade the Model Technical College, Omadino to Delta State University of Science and Technology.
The Chairman of Omadino Management Committee, Mr. Tuoyo Mogbeyiteren, made the appeal at Omadino, Monday February 2, during the commissioning ceremony of Model Technical College, Omadino.
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, while speaking, described the technical college as a flagship investment in technical education by his administration.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori, who stated that Model Technical College, Omadino, would unlock youth entrepreneurship and graduands would function as wealth creators, told The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III: “You will see what will happen in the next exco Your Majesty (in response to the Monarch’s request for infrastructural projects to be sited in Itsekiri riverine communities).”
