A family in Agharho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, is in confusion and fear, following the disappearances of their 16 - year old , Osaro Innocent.
A relative of the Osaros, told Our Correspondent on Friday, February 20, that Aunty to Osaro (who Osaro lives with) informed them that Osaro came back from school, Friday February 13, and left the house, without carrying any of his belongings and hasn't returned since then.
According to the Family Source, the 16 - year old Osaro, who is an SS1 student, is the only son of his mother.
The Source said Osaro's uncle was not around when he (Osaro) went missing and his aunty that was at home, did not bother looking for him. Meanwhile, Osaro's mother, Regina Inalu, who resides in Agharho, had been calling his son's mobile line, without response, even though the calls had been successfully going through. At some point, the call was reportedly declined, before the phone was seemingly switched off. The mother decided to visit him at Ughoton on Sunday February 15, only for her to be told that her son left the house since Friday February 13.
Findings showed that Osaro was 4 years old , when he (Osaro) lost his father and since then, his mother has been taking care of him, until last year when his father's brother took him from her.
It was gathered that Ughoton community held their festival on Friday 13th of February, and the Nigerian Police arrested some persons, prompting Regina Inalu, to rush to the police station in search of her son. She went with pictures of Osaro Innocent, for identification, but the Police in Ekpan, A Division and Orero -Okpe Police stations, said Osaro was not in their custody.
Meanwhile, uncle of Osaro came back, claiming Osaro packed his clothes, which contradicts what Osaro's aunty told Osaro's mother.
As at the time of this report, Osaro's whereabout was unknown. If found, please reach his mother on 09047556269.
