Agbateyiniro signs Warri South 2026 Appropriation Bill into Law

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, has signed the Warri South Local Government Council 2026 Appropriation Bill into Law.

The Budget of Eighteen billion, three hundred and sixty-eight million, eight hundred and seventy-four thousand, five hundred and sixty-six naira, eighty-four kobo (N18,368,874,566.84) which is christened “Budget of Renewed Hope for More Agenda” was inked by Comr. Agbateyiniro, Monday February 23, in the presence of Vice Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, Leader of Warri South Legislative Arm, Rt. Hon. Joy Ejumudo and the Deputy Leader, Hon. Emmanuel Egbe.

Others present, during the brief ceremony, are Secretary to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Nunu, Warri South Council Head of Personnel Management, HPM, Mrs. Remi Omatsuli, Treasurer to Warri South Local Government, Mr. Ugborugbo Moses, HoD, Budget, Warri South Local Government Council, Dr. Ichime Moses and the Clerk of Warri South Legislative Arm, Comr. Godfrey Affor Maku.

Recall that Warri South Legislative Arm, had on Thursday February 12, passed the 2026 Appropriation Bill of Warri South Local Government Council, urging the Executive Arm of the local government to expedite action on its revenue generation drive.

The budget, accommodates construction of 50 lock-up stores at Edjeba Market, Lock-up stores at Warri Central Garage, Karen Street Road Construction, Public Transportation Buses, Cold Chain at Primary Health Centres, Daudu Police Station Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation of HOD Works Lodge.
