Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mrs. Uwale Egbejule Chigbo, who was recently suspended for one year, as an ex-Officio Member of the party’s Local Government Executive Committee, by the APC Ward 6 leadership, says she sleeps in APC, wakes in APC, and the party runs through her blood.

Mrs. Uwale, who is the Founder and President of Uwale Movement, denied betraying the APC, insisting she has been in the party for thirteen years, even when the party had no councillor.

Addressing members of her ‘Uwale Movement’ Tuesday April 7 at New World City, Ugbuwangue, Warri, Mrs. Uwale, declared: “I did not betray my party and did nothing wrong. I believe this is the time we need every soul for our President, Governor, Senator, House of Representative, House of Assembly and others. How can a party Chairman suspend a powerful and great woman like me?

“I want to tell the body of APC that if you people suspend me in my ward, I will still continue to pay my loyalty to the party. Before my suspension, I had three hundred and forty-five members in Uwale Movement, but after the suspension, we are now more than five hundred. The women know my strength as their principal.

I am still pleading to the Ward Chairman, Kenneth George, this is not the time to lose any election and any member, because everybody is useful.

“This is a great party, so I will not step out of my party, I will work for my party, whether they like it or not.

“I sleep in APC, I wake in APC, APC runs in my blood, I love my party with passion. All those that are fighting me, I will keep on loving you. Nothing will stop me and my women to deliver for Ukodo and Mama Delta, because women are powerful and we will stand by them. Nobody will shut my voice.”
