Stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Efekoha Joy Favour, has joined the Warri South Constituency I race, ahead of the 2027 general elections, saying she wants to be that voice that would say ‘our people don work o, wetin be our benefit?.

Our Roving Correspondent, reports that Efekoha, made her intentions known Wednesday April 8, when she led her supporters on a consultative visit to the leadership of All Progressives Congress in Ward 3, Warri South Local Government Area.

The House of Assembly hopeful, who spoke mostly in pidgin English, told the Ward 3 APC leadership: “If you make laws wey dey favorable to the common man, half of the problem for this life don solve.

As we dey work, e come be like say them nor dey see whether people dey there. Na that pain in my heart, say we go just dey for the Constituency, we no get voice. I think the highest position when we don get for the constituency, na board member for DBS.

"For decision table, I don't remember when they called anyone from this ward, that is why it’s paining me, that is why I said I need to come out for the position of House of Assembly."

While appealing for support of the leadership of Ward 3, Efekoha, said she wants Warri South Constituency I, to go back to the days of late Hon. Omawumi Udoh, who according to her, did empowerment every three to six months while she was in the State House of Assembly.

“Let us join hands to reclaim the lost glory of our Constituency I, so that we will stand out tall, because I believe when elected, I will speak for the betterment of my people, on how the laws will be favorable to our people.

“I want to assure you that everybody will be carried along. I am not coming out to fight anyone, rather I am looking out for my people”, she stated.
