A member of Ugbokodo Community Taskforce in Okpe Local government Area of Delta State (name withheld) has reportedly stolen two fowls belonging to his neighbour, as indigenes of the community hide him in their townhall.
Our Roving Correspondent, reports that the incident occurred Monday, April 13, when the owner of the fowl, asked him to look after the chickens, while she was attending to her baby.
According to some of the indigenes, whenever a person steals, especially when the person is a non-indigene, the community will beat the hell out of the person and report the incident to the police.
As at the time of this report, the man was inside the townhall, saying nobody will do anything to him, because he took his brother’s fowl.
According to some sources in the community, the same man had sex with two of his underaged daughters sometime last year and the community didn’t take any disciplinary action.
