You lack credibility, IGC hits back at WSWUDF

The Itsekiri Grassroot Coalition, IGC, has hit back at Warri South-West Unity and Development Forum, WSWUDF, saying the pro-Chief Thomas Ereyitomi and Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor group, “appears to lack credibility, as evidenced by its limited visibility and engagement.”

Coordinator of IGC, Warri South-West, Ben Eyitemi Eburajolo, who made the declaration Thursday April 23, in a statement sent to Fresh Angle International, said members of IGC, “are not driven by noise or social media influence, but by genuine community engagement.”

Eburajolo, stated that the Itsekiri Grassroot Coalition, has been in existence for over four years and actively participated in the last general elections, carried out extensive grassroots and market-to-market campaigns.

Whilst insisting that the records of IGC are verifiable, Eburajolo, challenged WSWUDF to present evidence of consistent meetings or community involvement.

He asserted: “IGC is made up of grassroots politicians with proven integrity across units, wards, and local governments.

“Good governance is visible and speaks for itself; it does not require excessive promotion.

Personal achievements in office do not automatically translate to constituency development. The people of Warri South West deserve tangible progress.

Warri South West has not experienced the level of development expected under the current representation.

“It is time to move away from defending underperformance and instead demand better

“IGC remains committed to supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in 2027.”
