Prominent aspirant for the Warri South-West Constituency Seat in the Delta State House of Assembly, Dr. Andrew Omagbemi Igban, has consulted All Progressives Congress, APC leaders from the six Itsekiri dominated wards in Warri South-West Local Government Area, promising to focus on making laws that will pave the way for community development and human capital development as well as empowerment.
Dr. Igban, who reportedly met the leaders Sunday April 26 at Ode-Ugborodo School field, Ugborodo in Warri South-West Local Government Area, officially informed the ward leaders of his intention to contest the 2027 elections.

While pledging his commitment to serve the good people of Warri South-West with integrity, he outlined his plans for inclusive representation, sustainable development and effective leadership.
He reiterated the importance of collaboration with ward leaders as key drivers of community growth, vowing to attract the attention of government, non-governmental organizations, IOCs, and other agencies to Warri South-West Local Government Area, so as to ensure even an accelerated grassroots development.

This Newspaper, understands that the Councillor representing Ugborodo ward in Warri South-West Legislative Arm, Hon. Austin Iyinbo, in his remarks, said that Dr. Igban had done well with his foundation and other interventions, impacting positively on the people of Warri South-West.
Hon. Iyinbo, reportedly backed the aspiration of Dr. Igban, expressing optimism that if given the mandate to represent Warri South-West Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly come 2027, Dr. Igban, will initiate people-driven legislation.

Chairmen of the six wards; Ugborodo, Ogidigben, Madangho, Ajudiabo, Akpakpa and Orere, were said to be present during the consultative visit.
