The Warri North Chapter of Itsekiri Grassroot Coalition, IGC, will be inaugurated Saturday May 9, Fresh Angle International, can report.
The landmark event, which signals the beginning of renewed commitment to grassroots leadership, unity and sustainable development within Warri North and the broader Itsekiri nation, is slated for 12.00noon at the popular KCMA Hall in the ancient town of Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government Area.
According to a statement released Monday May 4, by the Coordinator Itsekiri Grassroot Coalition, Warri North Chapter, Gbesimi Okorodudu, the ceremony is expected to draw an esteemed gathering of community leaders, dignitaries, stakeholders, and members of the public, who share a common vision for progress and inclusive growth.
The inauguration underscores the Coalition’s dedication to strengthening local leadership structures and empowering communities from the grassroots to the top.
When inaugurated, the chapter leaders, will carry the collective hopes of the people, foster development initiatives, promote unity and ensure that the voices of the grassroots, remain heard and represented.
The occasion would also serve as opportunity to celebrate the resilience, culture, and shared aspirations of the Itsekiri people, with a call on them to actively participate in shaping a future built on collaboration, transparency and impactful leadership.
