Former Women Leader of Ward 3, Ogunu/Ekurede Urhobo, Mrs. Julie Amioku, has cried out, saying people of the ward, have been suffering neglect for the past 12years, particularly since Hon. Augustine Uroye was elected as the member representing Warri South Constituency I in Delta State House of Assembly.

Mrs. Amioku, who made the call Wednesday May 20, in an exclusive interview with Fresh Angle International, said the people of the ward have endured what she termed “slavery” for over a decade and are now yearning for a new beginning.

The ex-woman leader, noted: “We have been in slavery for 12 years. We don’t want to be enslaved again. As an ex-woman leader, we start from the grassroots. We have been with Oki (Dr. Uroye) from the start.

“I was not like this before (sic). I had two legs, but now it’s one leg. When it was time to operate on my leg, Oki refused to pick my calls, a whole former woman leader. I was dumped like trash.

“Ward 3 is suffering. The leaders know only themselves. They don’t know the feelings of others. We need change. We nor want promise and fail. We want change,”
