Otuaro is  using his office to leak sensitive security information, Eyengho alleges

Itsekiri rights advocate and consummate.Mass Communicator, Comrade Alex Eyengho, has alleged that Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, is using is office, which is " domiciled in the Office of National Security Adviser" to undermine the interest of Itsekiri people and leak sensitive security information to his Ijaw kinsmen.

Comrade Eyengho, who made the allegation in Warri, Delta State, Wednesday June 3, during a world press conference organized by Itsekiri Ethnic Nationality, said Ijaws of Gbaramatu are the greatest beneficiaries of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration, even though they " did not vote for President Tinubu in the 2023 elections."

He claimed that the sophisticated oil bunkering being carried out by Gbaramatu leaders, leveraging on the pipeline surveillance contract awarded by the federal government, via NNPCL, has become an avenue to short-change Itsekiri Nation in their homeland of Warri South, Warri South - West and Warri North Local Government Areas.

According to Comrade Eyengho, the proposal for delineation of units, wards and constituencies in Warri Federal Constituency, recently released by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is dead on arrival.

" It's just a matter of time, the Ijaws that are tenants in Warri South, will soon be kicked out, so fear not.

" Kantu and Ijaghala, are Itsekiri land.  Kantu is owned by Omadino, Ijaghala is owned by Ugborodo community.

" I want to appeal to Mr. President to direct the withdrawal of  security agents attached to Tompolo ( High Chief Government Ekpemupolo)  and Matthew Tonlagha," Eyengho, asserted.

Popular Warri - based legal practitioner and Egogo of Warri Kingdom, Chief Robinson Ariyo, on his part, averred: " Itsekiri has been talking about the rule of law, because the rule of law, is always preferable to the rule of lawlessness.

" We are here today, we seem to forget that the headquarter of Warri South - West, is Ogidigben, we kept quiet as if it's Ogbe - Ijoh. This is to stress the degree of oppression we are passing through legally as Itsekiris.

" The place they call Boluoma, they lost that case in court, subsequently the Ijaws were barred from laying any claim to that place. In -fact, they were barred from laying claim to any place in Warri urban."

Prince Yemi Emiko, Hon. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi, Mrs. Vivian Eric Mene as well as Itsekiri youth leaders; Comrade Appearance Afejuku and Joseph Okotie, also spoke during the media parley.
