Scores of Itsekiri Women, on Monday June 8, joined Itsekiri youths to block the entrance of Nigerian Ports Authority, Warri, Warri South Local Government Area, brandishing placards in response to early morning invasion of Chevron Nigeria Limited facility at Abiteye field in Warri South - West Local Government Area.
The angry Itsekiri women, carried placards and banners with inscriptions such as " Last INEC units delineation in 2003, was done in all 360 federal constituencies" " INEC, no delineation during litigation" " INEC, don't deviate from the constitution" and " INEC, don't deviate from the Electoral Act."
The women stormed the port entrance, after angry Itsekiri youths barricaded the gate earlier, in response to the protest by Ijaw women at Abiteye.
