The Otumara family of Warri Kingdom, has confirmed the passing of Chief ( Dr.) Joseph Sisanmi Otumara.
The death of Chief Otumara, was confirmed by Mr. Gbubemi Otumara in a statement released Saturday June 13.
The family, has also communicated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, notifying him of the passing of Chief Otumara, a former Delta State Commissioner for Health and ex three - time Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area.
Fresh Angle International, understands that Chief Joseph Otumara, who was the Obarisuwa of Warri Kingdom, passed Friday June 12.
Chief Otumara, widely recognised as leader of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South Local Government Area, before leading the party members into the All Progressives Congress, APC in the area, was patron of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Delta State Council.
Born 16th December, 1960, Dr. Otumara, who was a Medical Doctor, prominent politician and Administrator, attended First Baptist School, Sapele, Zik Grammar School, Sapele, Federal School of Arts and Science, Lagos and the prestigious University of Lagos, College of Medicine, where he graduated as Medical Doctor in 1988.
The transited Chief Otumara, had a flourishing medical practice in his Alpha Clinic, Warri, before going into politics.
