The Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Sylvester Oromoni, says the S.M.A.R.T Agenda, initiated by Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa during his tenure as Governor of Delta State, laid solid foundation for development and peace in the State.
Our Warri South-West Bureau Chief, reports that Hon. Oromoni made the assertion in a goodwill message to felicitate Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his 67th birth anniversary Wednesday July 8.
The Warri South-West Local Government Boss, noted that Dr. Okowa’s wisdom, fatherly guidance and commitment to the progress of Deltans, remain a source of inspiration to people of Warri South-West Local Area in particular and Deltans as a whole.
The message reads: “On behalf of the Executive, the Legislative Arm, Management, Staff and the good people of Warri South West Local Government Area, I heartily felicitate with you, our leader and father, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of your birthday.
“Your S.M.A.R.T Agenda during your tenure, laid a solid foundation for development and peace in Delta State.
“Your wisdom, fatherly guidance, and commitment to the progress of Deltans remain a source of inspiration to us. As you mark this new age, Warri South-West celebrates you.
“Thank you for the Rural Youth Skills Acquisition (RYSA) and the other youth empowerment programmes, through which many of our youths were trained and empowered. That legacy lives on.
