Prominent Itsekiri Leader, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has condemned the alleged kidnapped and torture of the Chairman, Mayomi Ololo Abeson, General Secretary, Adeyemi Tobi and PRO, Glory Macaully of the Ijaghala Community branch of the Ugborodo Community National Youth body, saying he did not expect such barbaric act under the watch of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

Chief Emami, who spoke in a syndicated podcast Tuesday July 28, while reacting to report of how the trio, were allegedly kidnapped from Ijaghala community by armed people, allegedly from Gbaramatu-Ijaw, taken to Oporoza and locked up in an illegal prison, purportedly on the instruction of Gbaramatu leaders, said; “If other Itsekiris go take am, me Ayiri Emami nor go take am. I won assume say maybe Government nor dey aware of all this that is happening to my people.”

The APC Chieftain, stated in Pidgin English: “I nor come know the one wey we Dey as Itsekiri, wey minority people nor go fit exist for this country. I nor won talk now, but this country is not a lawless country.

“I don’t expect this under Asiwaju and Sheriff watch, I won assume say maybe Government nor Dey aware of all this that is happening to my people. No civilize country anywhere go take am, Itsekiri cannot be treated like this.”
