Flagship Niger Delta Digital Newspaper, Fresh Angle International, has been invited for the 2026 Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria, OGTAN HCD Conference & Expo.
The inaugural event, which would be bring together the country's energy training ecosystem, operators, and regulators to design a unified blueprint for Nigeria's energy workforce, centers on the theme "Empowering People, Driving Performance, Shaping the Future of the Oil and Gas Industry.”
The OGTAN HCD Conference & Expo 2026, will run from August 19 to August 21, at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to a statement by the organizers, the conference kicks off Wednesday August 19 with registration and opening of the exhibition, to be followed with a welcome dinner and golf tournament at Ogunu Golf Resort, Warri.
There will be plenary sessions, panel discussions, and the interactive Hackathon Challenge on Thursday August 20, while the main technical wrapping sessions, closing exhibition hours, and the grand finale, will take place Friday August 21.
Principal Correspondent of Fresh Angle International, Celestine Ukah, who will attend the 3-day conference on behalf of this Pioneer Niger Delta Online Newspaper, is expected to also participate in the Grand Dinner hosting the HCD Excellence Awards to honor outstanding individuals and organizations driving talent development.
