Ogbuku seeks prayers, to continually serve Niger Deltans with sincerity

The Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has requested the continued prayers—for divine guidance, protection, wisdom and renewed strength, to continually serve Niger Deltans with sincerity, humility and dedication.

Fresh Angle International, can report that the NDDC Boss, made the request in a statement released on his X handle Wednesday August 19, in celebration of his birth anniversary.

According to him, his birth anniversary, calls for deeper service, greater responsibility, moment to listen more attentively and strengthen the bond he has with Niger Deltans.

His statement, reads: “Today, as I mark another year of my life, I have chosen to observe this occasion not with the usual festivities or merriment, but in a spirit of quiet reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment.

“A birthday is not merely a celebration of age; it is an opportunity to pause, look back with humility, assess the journey so far, and reflect deeply on the responsibilities that lie ahead.

“As I look back on the path we have travelled together, I am profoundly grateful for the milestones we have achieved in our collective service to the resilient and enterprising people of the Niger Delta. These achievements have been made possible by the support, cooperation and shared aspirations of our people, partners, stakeholders and the dedicated men and women of the Niger Delta Development Commission.

“Yet, service to humanity demands that we constantly look beyond our achievements and ask ourselves a more important question: What more can we do?

“The Niger Delta Development Commission, was established as a beacon of hope and a strategic interventionist institution for the development of the Niger Delta. My resolve, therefore, is renewed to ensure that the Commission continues to align its interventions with the genuine aspirations and everyday realities of our people—delivering projects and programmes that are impactful, sustainable and capable of making a tangible difference in the lives of our communities.

“This birthday is, therefore, a call to deeper service and greater responsibility. It is a moment to listen more attentively, understand our shared challenges more clearly, and strengthen our bond with the people we are privileged to serve.

“Above all, I give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life, wisdom, strength and good health. I remain deeply grateful to my beloved family, friends, colleagues, stakeholders and well-wishers for their prayers, encouragement and unwavering support throughout the years.
