The Catholic Diocese of Warri, has announced the passing of prominent Christian Cleric, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Mario Ozele.
According to the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Mario Ozele, transited to higher glory in the early hours of Tuesday September 15.
Fresh Angle International, understands that until his demise, he served faithfully as the Episcopal Vicar of Ughelli Pastoral Region and Parish Priest of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ughelli.
In a notice signed by the Chancellor, Catholic Diocese of Warri, Rev. Fr. Jude Nwabuokei and addressed to all Priests, Religious and Laity of the Catholic Diocese of Warri, Catholic Diocese of Warri, “commend his soul to the mercy of God” and implore Catholic faithful to keep him, the Diocese, and his immediate family in their prayers.
Whilst noting that the famous Cleric passed at the age of 60, the notice, which was by the directive of Chief Shepherd, Most Rev. Anthony Ovayero Ewherido, added: “Funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.”
