The Itsekiri Young Elites, IYE, has continued its commitment to supporting education and encouraging young people across Warri Kingdom through its Back-to-School Project, reaching out to students in several schools with essential educational materials as schools resumed.
The initiative, led by the President of IYE, Comrade Lily-white O. Esigbone, alongside the Secretary, Comrade Eboma Tuoyo Michael, saw the organisation distribute notebooks to students of JSS 1 at Essi College, Odion Community, Warri, as well as pupils of Ogiame Primary School (Ugbori/Ekurede Community), Agbeje Primary School, (Ugbwangwe Community) and Orugbo Primary School, Orugbo Community.
The educational outreach was designed to provide practical support to students as they begin a new academic session, while also reinforcing the organisation's belief that access to basic learning materials can contribute positively to the educational development of children within Warri Kingdom.
Speaking during the exercise, the IYE leadership emphasised the importance of collective responsibility in supporting education and investing in the younger generation.
The presentation was also attended by members of the organisation, including the Vice President, Comrade Toye Ireyefoju Esther, Johnson Odoh Ekies, Mene Toritseju Goodness, and Esimaje David Tonukarin, who participated in the distribution of the notebooks to the students.

The Back-to-School Project further demonstrates IYE's focus on community-oriented initiatives, particularly those aimed at supporting education, youth development and the welfare of children within Itsekiri communities.
The organisation said the initiative reflects its broader vision of encouraging young Itsekiris to contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities and to promote a culture where young people are supported to pursue education and build a better future.
