The Planning Committee for Odion Independence Day 2026, has unveiled programme of activities for the event.
According to a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Planning Committee, Edwin Afejuku and Oritseneye Fredrick, respectively, the event, will commence by 8:00 am with Regatta.
The regatta, is expected to start at Odion Roundabout to Ijaw Street, back to Odion Roundabout, before the " main program" which would run " till Mama's call."
The statement, urged participants to put on white Itsekiri native attire (kemije) polo or blouse, on green wrapper.
