The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, has described the 60-meter bridge being constructed by administration at Ifiekporo, Warri as a connection of energy, courage and determination.
The Warri South Local Government Boss, who spoke exclusively to Fresh Angle International, Friday October 2, during a working visit to the project site, said not too many persons believed that a local government council could execute such bridge project.
According to him, the bridge which connects Ifiekporo Community to the proposed Warri Atlantic City, has moved from the first phase, through the second and now at the last segment, which is to erect the longitudinal and the transverse beam.

“Our focal point is the future and there is no going back to where we are coming from, because when we started there was no singular elements of the project here, it was just only the river. It took courage and determination to have pushed it this far.
“Before we get to the first and second week of December, we should have been through with this and then bring no other person than the governor to come and help us commission it, because this is a legacy project for us. This is part of what the subsidy removal is doing” Agbateyiniro, asserted.
