The Public Relations Officer of Ifiekporo Community Youth and Chief Executive Officer of Ty Awani Nigeria Limited, Mr. Tuoyo Ebigbeyi has commended one of Nigeria's foremost indigenous oil companies, Matrix Energy Limited for positively affecting its host community, Ifiekporo, saying other companies operating in the Warri South community “should learn corporate social responsibility, CSR from the company”.
Mr. Ebigbeyi while wishing management and staff of Matrix Energy Limited, Ifiekporo, refreshing yuletide festivities, especially a happy 2018, prayed the company “continue to expand even to the extent of siting a refinery in our community (Ifiekporo)”.
The Community Youth Image Maker particularly gave plaudit to Matrix Energy “for the rehabilitation of Ejoki Primary School, Ifiekporo and the countless employment opportunities the company has created since its operation in our community”.
He stated, “we don't really know how to express our gratitude, we pray that other companies operating in Ifiekporo see and learn what CSR really means. It is our prayer that your establishment (Matrix Energy) continue to expand, even to the extent of siting a refinery in our community ".
