A member of House of Representatives in the aborted Second Republic, Chief (Hon.) Olivia Agbajoh has joined the Delta South Senatorial race ahead of the 2019 general elections, Fresh Angle International can authoritatively report.
Chief Agbajoh who stated that she was instrumental to attracting Naval Base (now NNS Delta) to Warri during the aborted Second Republic, becomes the first female aspirant to publicly indicate interest to vie for Delta South Senatorial Seat in 2019 after the likes of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, the incumbent Senator of the District, James Manager, Chief Whip of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Michael Diden and former Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. J.F.K Omatsone.
Addressing Select- Newsmen Saturday April 28 at her office in Warri, Chief Agbajoh described Delta South Senatorial District as one of the most backward in the country even though “it is one of the foremost in terms of revenue generation for our Nation”.
While stating that life journey has prepared her for the task, the former commissioner and ex-member of various boards, listed the resuscitation of Warri, Koko and Burutu Ports as top priorities if given the mandate to represent Delta South come 2019.
The Warri Chief and legal practitioner also assured that the koko-Ogheye Road, Bomadi-Okpokunu-Gbaregolo with link bridge to Esama, Ogbeinama-Akugbene Road, Ozoro-Kwale Road and Federal Polytechnic, Ozoro, will be constructed, so as to open up Delta South and ultimately boost the socio-economic life of the people.
She promised to invest in youth and women empowerment, just as she enjoined those that are above 18 years to get their permanent voter’s card so as to enable them exercise the right to choose credible representation at all levels.
