Members of an emerging political pressure group, Delta Progressive Ladies, DLP on Friday May 25 paid courtesy visit to Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Michael Tidi, calling on the council Boss to take them as his own.
President of Delta Progressive Ladies, DPL and Special Adviser to Hon. Michael Tidi, Mrs. Tos Kukune in a brief remark before presenting the group's constitution to the Warri South Chairman, said, "we want to make you patron of the group, because we are all your own Sir".
Chairman of Warri South Local Government, Hon. Michael Tidi, admonished members of the group to live by the word "progressive" in their name and enjoined them to work as a strong unit, devoid of avoidable disagreement.
He tasked them to explore the possibility of supporting market women and consider forming Corporative society with a view to expanding their financial base.
