The Director, Support Group of the Atiku Campaign Organization, Mr. Fabiyi Oladimeji, has told the People's Democratic Party, PDP aspirants in the 2019 general election that the 2019 Presidential election is not a tea party, saying "it is not for small boys".

Mr. Oladimeji dropped the hint Tuesday August 14 at the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Secretariat, Abuja when the national body of a political pressure group known as Atiku Arise 2019 led by its President,Prince Herbertino paid a courtesy visit, noting that the fight ahead of the Party's Presidential Bid ‘Is Not For Small Boys’, But For Big Wits.

Oladimeji who is also the Deputy Director Contact and Mobilization of the Atiku Campaign Organization maintained that, “we must first define what we want. I want to say that 2019 is not about Atiku, but it is about Nigerians. Only when we define what we want that we can get it right", he averred.

The Director who was seen visibly happy for the visit and the solidarity shown by the group stated that activities of support groups have been so helpful to the Atiku campaign bid and urged the Atiku Arise 2019 group to engage relevant stakeholders during the pre-primaries and the general elections.

While highlighting who will become the party's flagbearer, Oladimeji maintained that any candidate who has case to answer with any of the anti- graft agencies, especially the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is not qualified to raise the party's flag. He stressed that Atiku is most qualified to pick the ticket, this, according to him, nobody has any case against Atiku and that if the ticket is given to the wrong person, the party is finished.

Earlier, Secretary to the Atiku Arise 2019, Mr. Okaba Emmanuel while briefing the Atiku Campaign Organization said they were at the secretariat to align themselves and work with the Presidential bid in 2019 general election to salvage Nigeria from the myriad of socio-economic and problems created by the President Muhammadu administration.

According to him, “the Atiku Arise 2019 comprises young Nigerians, which cuts across the country who believe in the democratic ideals, economic prowess, proven character and integrity of His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. As a collective group of individuals who are not only concerned with the economic quagmire, insecurity, despondency, hunger and homelessness occasioned by visionless leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, also in search for a candidate with proven track record , experience, intellectual capacity and the reformist agenda with youth participation. We find these attributes in Atiku Abubakar. That is why we have come to affiliate with the Atiku Campaign Organization, support and campaign for his emergence as democratically elected President Come 2019", he stated.

High point of the visit was presentation of books on "ATIKU" The Story of Atiku Abubakar and "MAKING GOOD THINGS HAPPEN", The Atiku Abubakar Policy Document to the leadership of Atiku Arise 2019 organization.
