The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Ikenwoli has allegedly ordered the removal of President of National Association of Itsekiri Graduates, NAIG, Comrade Collins Edema, Fresh Angle International can report.
A source in the Olu Palace told Your Soar Away International Tabloid Tuesday August 21, that the order was handed down by the Monarch Thursday August 16, when a delegation of Chevron VTP trainees, Vice President and Secretary of NAIG as well as a prominent founder of the association, Mr. Martins Ajueyitsi Otuedon visited the King, with a view to appealing for his assistance in the resolution of labour issues between the trainees and Chevron Nigeria Limited.
The Warri King reportedly declined to wade into the issue between the trainees and Chevron until Comrade Collins Edema is removed as President of NAIG.
Mr. Martins Otuedon confirmed the directive of the revered Monarch in a telephone chat with Fresh Angle International Tuesday August 21.
When contacted, Comrade Edema confirmed knowledge of the order, but quipped that he was duly elected to run NAIG for a second term based on the confidence members of the association have on him and stressed that NAIG’s operation is based on what its constitution stipulates.
