We are always combat ready-Air Force Boss, Bali declares

The Air Officer Commanding, AOC, Mobility Command Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Napoleon Binkap Bali says Nigerian Air Force is always combat ready and determined to keep Niger Delta and its surroundings safe at all times.

AVM Balli gave the assurance Tuesday September 11 in Warri, Delta State while embarking on the maiden operational visit to 371 Nigeria Air Force Detachment, a unit under the Mobility Command, where he inspected and commissioned newly renovated projects.

Our Senior Correspondent reports that the projects commissioned by the Airforce Chief included: Joint Airmen Mess, Jeddo in Okpe Local Government Area, Officers Mess in Warri as well as the improvised Medical Lab and upgraded Medical Centre facilities in Jeddo.

The Air Officer Commanding Mobility Command, NAF, while commissioning the projects praised the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar ‘Distinguished Flying Star’ for making funds available for the projects executed in the units.

He also commended the Commander 371 NAF Detachment Warri, Air Commodore Yakubu Daniel for making sure the funds made available by the Air Force CAS was well utilized to execute the projects.

Air Vice Marshal NB Bali noted that the Mobility Command is to add value to security arrangement on ground and collaborate with other security agencies to make sure Niger Delta is free from criminals as well as ensure that law abiding citizens go about their legitimate businesses, adding that the mobility command has units in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State, Calabar in Cross River State, Warri in Delta State as well as other parts of the country.

He warned those planning to cause any form of mayhem in the Niger Delta to desist forthwith or be ready to face the consequences.

Fresh Angle International can report that highpoints of the tour included inspection of Officers Quarters and Quartre Guard, Osubi as well as 371 NAF Detachment permanent site also at Osubi.
