The youngest Senatorial aspirant for Delta South Seat at the National Assembly in the forthcoming 2019 polls, Amb. Young Piero Omatseye has admonished politicians and other stakeholders in Delta South to jettison politicking of tribal sentiment.
The APC Senatorial hopeful gave the advice Saturday September 15 at Patani, Delta State, when he led his supporters on a consultative visit to the chairman of All Progressives Congress in Patani Local Government Area and other party leaders in the area.
According to Omatseye, instead of politicians and leaders of people of Delta South to dwell on politics of ethnic bigotry, they should work in "synergy with those that are ahead of us,because together we shall build the Delta South of our dream".
While stressing that the journey ahead is a strategic one, Amb. Omatseye noted," whosoever becomes the APC candidate in 2019, will be an individual that can drive laws for the industrialization of our district, with a view to attracting massive employment and infrastructural development as well as fight for young people to take over power".
He stressed that the revolution his campaign team is seeking is not violent, but peaceful for youthful representation.
Patani Local Government Area All Progressives Congress Chairman, Chief Christopher Duke reportedly prayed for Amb. Young Piero Omatseye to enable him achieve success in his senatorial ambition, adding that the entire people of Patani are in support of the Not-Too-Young -To-Run law.
