PDP Chieftain assures of hitch-free party primaries


Chieftain of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Bayelsa State, Hon. Fidelix Osakibie Ayabowei has assured Nigerians that PDP under the leadership of Prince Uche Seconduswill conduct hitch-free and acceptable party primaries.

According to him,  the party will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants to test their popularity during the primaries come 2nd October, 2018.

He gave the assurance during a familiarization meeting held at White Castle Hotel, Edepie in Yenagoa, saying PDP is the only political party that understands the yearnings of the Nigeria populous and ever ready to address the economy problems facing the Nigerian Nation, adding that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC  has failed in delivering on her campaign promises to the masses.

Hon. Fidelix Ayabowei who recently defected from the APC to PDP, said APC in Bayelsa State has no direction and clear purpose of governance, noting that he is much more happy to come back to his former party to rebuild it and ensure that the party secure victory at all level in the forthcoming general elections.

In the area of vote buying during elections, he assured Nigerians that PDP will not be involved in buying of votes during elections, citizens will be given the constitutional rights to exercise their enfranchise to choose a purposeful and people-oriented leader that can salvage Nigerians from the hardship melted on them by the APC led federal government.

Hon. Fidelix Ayabowei advised youths to shun all forms of electoral violence and other criminal activities capable destroying their future.

His words, "We have come back from school where we learnt the ugly. APC as a party has nothing to offer. They are people that do not mean well for Bayelsans and Nigeria at large. The essence of this familiarization meeting was to make myself known to my ward executive who have worked assiduously to stabilize the party on my absence. I am fully back to ensure that the party in Bayelsa State is stronger and ensure victory in the 2019 general elections", he stated.
