As the battle for the 2019 general elections gather momentum, Delta South Senatorial hopeful, Chief Michael Johnny has vowed to put an end to poverty and other economic challenges affecting people of Delta South Senatorial District if elected as Senator in 2019.
Chief Johnny made the vow during consultative visits to leaders and ward executives of All Progressives Congress, APC in Koko, headquarters of Warri North Local Government.
While stressing that he remains the best aspirant among others contesting for Delta South Senatorial Seat, he stressed that there was need to elect someone like him who is visible on ground, knows the pains as well as sufferings of the people and ready to do one term as senator.
Chairmen of APC Warri North and Warri South, Hon. Macson Ebiarenyin and Mr. Mario Owunmi respectively, prayed for the success of Chief Michael Johnny.
Chief Johnny while consulting with APC Burutu Local Government Area leaders and ward executives, posited that projects executed under him as chairman of Egbema Gbaramatu Communities’ Development Foundation speaks volume and are more than Delta State government projects in the area.
He promised to initiate legislation that will lead to the revitalization of Burutu Port, construction of access roads to Burutu and Ogulagha as well as Warri-Escravos link Road and vital roads to link Isoko communities.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that the Chairman of APC in Burutu Local Government, Prince Bomighan Owei assured Chief Johnny of APC Burutu delegates’ votes in the primaries.
