All Progressives Congress,APC Delta South Women Leader and member of Upper Benue River Basin Development Authority, UBRBA, Alero Naomi Tenumah has congratulated Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru over his emergence as the 2019 Delta State APC gubernatorial candidate, following his victory at the party primary conducted under the leadership of Prophet Jones Erue.
In a press statement made available to Fresh Angle International Tuesday October 2, Tenumah asserted that the overwhelming victory of Chief Ogboru at the governorship primary of the APC is a prelude of what to expect in the 2019 governorship poll.
According to the APC Chieftain, the popularity of Chief Ogboru and the growing acceptability of All Progressives Congress in the Niger Delta, particularly Delta State, means the days of Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State Government House are numbered.
She admonished the APC gubernatorial candidate to consolidate on the peace building process with aggrieved members of the party, stressing that the task of taking over Delta Government House requires the unity of old and new members of " the progressives' party".
While stressing that the time has come for strategic networking ahead of the 2019 polls, Tenumah commend the President Muhammadu Buhari administration for the dredging of Escravos Bar in Warri South West and other parts of Delta Ports, noting that it will help to revitalize ports' operations in the Niger Delta.
