Chief Okumagba made the statement Sunday October 21 at his private residence in Warri, when members of Matthew Poko Opuoru Campaign Organization paid him a visit to formally notify him of Mr. Opuoru's victory at the PDP primary and to condone with him on the death of his mother.
While describing the PDP House of Assembly candidate's emergence as " a victory well deserved", Chief Okumagba admonished Mr. Opuoru to be very discreet in all he does and prayed God to give him discerning spirit to enable him know the appropriate time to talk or keep silence.

Director -General of Matthew Poko Opuoru Campaign Organization, Chief Felix Ogbodu, thanked Chief Emmanuel Okumagba for his frankness and noted that the visit was to condone with Chief Okumagba on the demise of his mother as well as to formally demonstrate the bond of unity with aspirants who contested with Mr. Opuoru at the party primary.

The Warri South Constituency 2 PDP candidate, Mr. Opuoru in his remark, assured his constituents that he will use the position to empower lots of people if given the mandate in 2019.

He apologised to those he might have offended prior to the PDP primary, noting that he has equally forgiven those who offended him as well.

While expressing optimism that Chief Okumagba will support his candidacy, the PDP candidate vowed to ensure that Chief Okumagba gets whatever is due to him once he emerges victorious at the polls in 2019.
