A group committed to the re-election of Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Team Ebosa for Okowa, says the governor’s performance in the areas of infrastructural development, healthcare and road construction across the riverine communities in Warri North Local Government Area, are among reasons why he should be re-elected by Deltans in the March 2 Gubernatorial/House of Assembly polls.

Delta State Coordinator of Team Ebosa for Okowa, Mrs. Tina Kukune gave the explanation Saturday January 5, during PDP campaign rally in Koko, Warri North Local Government Area, on behalf of Chairman of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon. Godwin Ebosa, who is initiator of the group.
She mentioned construction of concrete landing jetty at Ogheye Community, pedestrian bridge linking Otonlila and Oboghoro Communities, construction of three kilometre road at Obiti-Ugbo, 24 housing units at Oboghoro and Otonlila through DESOPADEC as some of Okowa’s achievements in Warri North.
While appealing to other ethnic groups to give equity a chance by supporting Okowa from Delta North “in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy”, Mrs. Kukune added “Warri North is happy with Okowa and we will vote for him and PDP all the way at the general elections”.
The State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa while thanking the people of Warri North for their support, charged them to vote Senator James Manager, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi as member to represent Warri Federal Constituency as well Hon. Fred Martins as Warri North House of Assembly representative.
Our Senior Correspondent reports that Chief Otimeyin Adams, Chief Thomas Ereyitomi, Chief Francis Omatseye and Warri North PDP Chairman, Dr. Isaac Tosan Wilke were among prominent Itsekiris that spoke at the event.
